Our Success Journey

Holy Sai Group of Institutions’ flagship, Holy Sai International School, was established in the year 2007 at Guduvanchery, Chennai. At that time, it was welcomed as a pleasant change and as a preferred destination for aspiring students and parents to embrace holistic quality education on par with global standards.

First IGCSE School – Awakening minds, Illuminating futures

Holy Sai International School, Chennai soon started offering the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum in sync with its international antecedents. The first batch of IGSCE began in the year 2013, and this gave the school the commendable position of being the only School in the Guduvanchery area to offer the IGCSE stream. It was the only School in the stretch between Tambaram – Chengalpattu to offer the IGCSE syllabus.

Holy Sai Institutions is affiliated with the University of Cambridge – UK and offers the IGCSE (International General Certification of Secondary Education). Cambridge IGCSE is a learner-centric curriculum that enables schools to introduce a core curriculum and modify the parameters to incorporate cross-curricular perspectives. This internationally acclaimed programme is recognized by universities worldwide for admissions.

AS & A level – To new horizons, one feat at a time

Whereas IGCSE is for Class 10 level students while the Cambridge Advanced International Certification of Education (AICE) is typically for learners aged 16 to 19 years who need advanced study to prepare for university and higher Education. In 2019, HSI started its first batch of AS (Class XI) and A (Class XII) levels after having thrived in IGCSE certification.

Annex – Our infra, your foundation

Lockdown period did not dampen the spirit of the HSI family, who marched together with
confidence and positivity. Annex 1 building was dedicated to the school community for the
academic year 2022-23 and Annex 2 block is also in operation now. We have added a
multipurpose hall for theatre productions and a spacious Courtyard by the Annex for outdoor
events along with spacious classrooms

Outdoor Learning Centre

Our Outdoor Learning Centre opened in 2023 at Pollachi with its motto ‘Mann, Maram, Makkal’ is
a step towards getting closer to nature and adapting to sustainability in a more elaborate manner
as a continuity to Holy Sai group’s mission to go plastics free. Set away from the bustle of city, the
centre offers overnight boarding facilities for our students including nature walk, farming practices
and soaking in the comforts of a nature retreat.

2024 - HOLY SAI ARRIVES @ COIMBATORE

HSI spreads its wings into the cotton city. Holy Sai Preparatory School is now open for admissions at our Vadavalli campus from the academic year 2024-25, with intake going on for grades Pre.KG to VIII.

Conviction, Commitment, Confidence – Dr. S. Premshankar embodies them all. He dons many hats – an innovative builder, organic farmer, powerful orator but he chooses to identify himself first and foremost as a dedicated educationist. He always places emphasis on giving back to the society and believes the best way to do it is through giving the best of education to the younger generation to build a strong nation based on meritocracy. He was the Spokesperson for Tamil Nadu Cambridge Schools at Cambridge international zonal community Meet for South India and now currently serving as the president of the prestigious Tamil Nadu Association of Cambridge Schools (TACS). He holds the post of secretary of UDSFSA – United Districts Self Financing Schools Association, and also serves as an advisory panel member of various educational institutions. He was the mastermind behind the Holy Sai Research and Development team, spearheading the training of over 300 teachers from schools of Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur, Chengalpet and Chennai districts through Ignite 23 – the Educator’s Edition. Beyond his mission to transform educators, he is a knowledgeable farmer deeply committed to sustainable farming practices. His dedication extends to educating young minds on living in harmony with nature, a vision manifested in the creation of our upcoming Outdoor Learning Center at Pollachi. His multifaceted contributions extends to being the Project Director, Maa Foundation – MAstering Agriculture. He has taken considerable efforts to preserve the cultural identity of Tamil Nadu by raising Jallikattu bulls and performing organic farming. His strive and drive for excellence in all his actions is the primary reason Holy Sai International School has developed into Holy Sai Group of Institutions at Chennai and Coimbatore.

Mrs. Chamundeswari

Principal

Mrs.R.Chamundeswari, Principal of Holy Sai Group of Institutions, Chennai & Coimbatore, is the brain behind the institution and a devoted educationist. Children are the prime focus of all her efforts at work. She sincerely believes in the holistic development of children and focuses on learning beyond their limits.

A post graduate in Mathematics and a Bachelors in Education, she started her career as a Maths teacher in her parental institution. she has accumulated over 23 years of valuable experience and has been an integral part of the school’s growth and development. She is certified with Cambridge in Teacher Training (CIDTT). Also certified by Harvard Graduate school of education for “Leading school strategy and Innovation” in 2022, she was awarded the Best Principal Award.
